EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CHIROPRACTORS

The required education for chiropractors consists of four to five years at a chiropractic college with the appropriate accreditation. This course of study includes at least 4,200 hours of experience in the classroom, in the laboratory, and in direct clinical activity. About 555 of these hours are dedicated to having students learn about observing and analyzing the spine as well as on the actual spinal adjustments that are so characteristic of this field.

Although the curriculum for chiropractors is heavily focused on exclusively chiropractic concerns, it also includes a delving into clinical sciences and general health topics.
